Stranger Moves In, Redecorates House During Family's Vacation

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. -- A Georgia family is trying to figure out why a woman moved into their home while they were away on vacation.

Beverly Mitchell, of the Atlanta suburb of Douglasville, said she returned from two weeks in Greece to find that her personal belongings -- including clothes, furniture and dishes -- had been removed. She said most of the carpet had also been taken out and the house had been redecorated.

Sheriff's deputies found Beverly Valentine in a bathroom and charged her with burglary. Police said Valentine told them she used a shovel to break into the house.

Mitchell said the woman had the electricity switched over to her name and also moved in a washer and dryer.

Seriously, they're a cheap way to keep a room cooler. Why do they hate them? And the bigger question, has Hilde EVER been hired outside of TS?

I gave up on that show a long time ago. The only home improvement show I can stand to watch anymore is This Old House - they don't rush to put crap up everywhere.

6. Personally, I think it shows a lot of ingenuity.

Sort of a "can do" attitude. Ms. Valentine demonstrated a lot of creativity and effective use of resources, and managed to get an awful lot accomplished in just two short weeks. She could probably find a job in the Bush administration.
