3. my brother just sent me a very encouraging poll update

from one of his political cronies. It looked very good for Kerry, based on the fact that so many voters are disenchanted with * and that incumbents with less than a 50% approval rating do not tend to be re-elected. Let's pray that this is true!

4. It's funny, all the polls in Canada show a dead heat or Kerry ahead

All the ones in the US show Bush ahead

8. i just read a message from a Canadian friend,

she was commenting on, "Two years ago, compared to the US$, the CAN$ was worth only 50¢... Yesterday, it closed at 80¢... It's highest since 1993"

and the damn polls make me crazy!
