OMG!!! Star Trek visited ...MAYBERRY!!!!

On this web page I will be showing some of the buildings of
Mayberry that were used in 2 episodes of Star Trek, the orginal
series. The Episodes are "Miri" and "The City on the Edge of
Forever". Both have some great glimpses of Mayberry that we
normally never see in a TAGS episode. This page will start with
images from the episode "Miri", If you wish to jump to images
from "The City on the Edge of Forever" episode, click here

14. if a set is built well they use them forever and ever
even expensive movies rent the same props you've seen a billion times never go to a movie with a movie worker, they ruin it for you, then have to sit and watch names till the lights go on.

16. Yeah I know. Two years ago my wife and I got a tour of the Fox movies
"sets". In fact it was the same day that I proposed to her in Malibu.

Anyway my stepsister worked for Fox Movies (the Fox tower is the Nokatome (sp?)tower in the first Die Hard -they filmed in and around it during construction)and we walked through a city street set that is used for all kinds of stuff doubling as NYC.

Still it is funny. I wonder if the Star Trek people left the Floyd's barbershop window in place as a joke (maybe Roddenberry really DID know that the future help the internets  )

few years.
