Fuck this town s pathetic

Since my arrival here, I've written countless editorials on everything from class segregation in town to the Nelson draft dodgers monument. Some have been pretty good and my publisher has entered them in competitions.
But for all my editorials and effort I've put into them, I've only received one response from readers, and that guy didn't even live here, he lives 150kms away and happened to buy our paper.
Today I have received three responses for one I did last week on junk mail. I wasn't aware that you could request no junk mail in your box.
And these fucking people keep writing mean spirited letters telling me I can do that.
That is how sad this town full of losers is, the only time they respond is when they can rag on me regarding a fairly easy topic that requires no thought to argue.
Fucking losers.
