Picked up the latest issue of Rolling Stone today - not much of a magazine purveyor but this one had John Kerry on the cover as well as an excellent article and endorsement...and as an extra, a wonderful piece by Dr. Thompson:

I swear to God, the four years of the Bush "presidency", so far, feels like the entirety of the Reagan/Bush Sr. years. I mean, has it really been ONLY four years?

9. I love that guy. I remember being in college 30 yrs ago and reading

his pieces about Nixon, the Vietnam War, etc. A wonderful writer with a powerful voice.
