Okay, so I want to update my version of iTunes, so I go under the heading "Help" and tell it to search for updates. When I tell the computer to download the update, it just takes me to the iPod/iTunes website and seems like it wants me to download iTunes all over again.
If I do this, will it wipe out my music or will it not make a difference? I don't have my CDs with me, so I definately don't want the new download of iTunes to start off blank and erase the music that was in the previous version. Is there somewhere that I'm missing where you can just get the 'update' and not have to download the full version again?
Thanks. :)

But I could be totally wrong. Wait till someone else who's done it comes along.
My guess is no though - it automatically picked up all the music I had on my computer and on Windows Media when I first downloaded iTunes.

4. Download it and re-install it. |

It will not touch your music directories.
Don't worry.
