Question for those who have seen Dylan's film 'Eat the Document'
Is there a scene where Dylan and his sidekick try to 'buy' a girlfriend away from her boyfriend - I swear I read that somewhere?

If so - I find that sort of strange.

1. The answer
Dylan's sidekick is in fact Richard Manuel, pianist and vocalist of The Band. They come across a couple--I think its in Scandinavia somewhere--and offer the guy a number of things for the girl, including money and a lighter. I think its actually a staged scene, the kind of which Dylan was experimenting with at that time.

2. so it was staged and not serious
does he also puke in a limo with John Lennon who is obviously starting to get annoyed with him?

3. Puke scene
appears to be real and is referenced in a number of Dylan bios. Lennon remains a gentleman through the entire affair with only a few moments of sardonic wit.
