I go through spells with DU where I'll post periodically- sometimes not for a three, four days- up to a week.

Then there's times like right now-

I haven't been able to keep from checking the boards for more than a couple of hours for about two days now (except for sleep).

Sometimes easy connectivity can be a real bitch.

5. A DUers Ananomous confession

Hi, I'm Ed and I'am DUer

Since I woik out of the house, I'm the one in charge of getting dinner ready every night and my wife works late (until 6 or so)

One night last week I was indulging myself in a virtual orgy of DUing and completely forgot about dinner....until I heard the garage door open.......

I quickly shut down DU and and started thinking...FAST!

Since Iknew she had just completed a big important project I work, I met her at the door and announced that in celebration of the project completion, we were eating out that night.

She bought it.

I feel so ashamed. My addiction has made me a liar and an irresponsible one at that!

I need help! (so natuarlly I'm turning to DU :evilgrin: )

I did that once with my homework. I'd been on DU all night and my mom asked me if I had it done. OF course I do Mom! What am I, some irresponsible twit??!! Of course, I was up until about 11 at night and bascially asleep all the next day. Whoops!
