1. Lotsa rumblings here in 'Gator Nation, UP...
...as a Florida grad, I have to admit the B-Dogs just outplayed the 'Gators...and let me add my congratulations as well. State won it with no help from the officials...and, yes, I'm looking at you, Tennessee!

2. I have a co-worker (DU lurker) who is a RABID Gator fan
He tells me about all the inside scoop/SEC news from gatorzone.com (I think it is) everything from gossip, jokes ( www.luluandjunior.com ), to recruiting- a really good site but you have to pay.

He told me about Zook going down to frat row and confronting a frat house that had got into it with one of his players. Everyone was hot at Zook anyway, this surely didn't help. God, that Tennessee game was ridiculous.

BTW- if you haven't seen the lulu and junior site before it is hilarious especially their "world travels" and their "winter home" it is a Gator fan constructed site from a screen grab at a UT-Florida game a few years ago in Knoxville.

5. I couldn't believe ND lost that game-the Catholic Super Bowl!!
I turned the channel and then took a nap (World Series tonight) and then saw the TYRONE WILLINGHAM IS TOAST!!! thread.

Wow!

7. ND loses to BC when they don't take them seriously--after three losses
in a row (now, four), you'd think they would!

8. This made my day (and that of at least 85,000 others!)
I was at the Auburn-Kentucky game this afternoon and can bear witness to the tremendous ROAR that arose from Jordan-Hare Stadium (from AU and KU fans alike) when that score was announced at halftime!

I am a BIG Croom fan, and it was clear to me that the University of Alabama administration was foolish to pass up the chance to hire him before the Bulldogs snapped him up. Give MSU two years of Croom recruiting, and I think there will be a HUGE shift of power in the SEC Western Division.

I will cheer faithfully for Mississippi State (unless of course, they are playing Auburn)!

9. Will Zook make it until the end of the season?
Everything I hear points to blood in the water already, and that's not good when dealing with Gators!

I think if Georgia comes away with a win next weekend, Zook is finished the same day.
