Angels In America
I rented this dvd last night - and actually watched the whole 6 hours of it which is very unusual for me to train my eye on that certain tube for that long as I have another screen computer I spend my irises on. It was beautiful and creative and hard and reminded me of Magnolia. I came away with compassion for every one of those people, even Pacino Roy the repug lawyer (btw, is there any Truth to that rosenberg connection, as I recall Roy Cohen was a big assed lawyer way back in real life).

1. Yes, there is truth to that.
Joined at the hip, he and McCarthy had their way with America. There is a great documentary about it called "Heir to an Execution" that is the story of the Rosenberg's grand daughter. Very powerful stuff.

2. He'll be waiting for the PNACers in that place he's in now.
Pacino always does good for the bad guys. Devil Advocate made my skin crawl in interest.
