college football rules question: if 2 pt conversion is attempted
by throwing a pass, and opposing team intercepts said pass, then runs it all the way back into end zone, how many points are awarded?

if anyone happens to have a link to offical rules that simply explains this that would be helpful. i searched for this but didnt have luck with this specific question.

thank you so much

1. 2 I believe
I remember the 1996 season, the opposing team attempted a 1 PAT, Arizona State blocked the kick and returned it all the way. ASU was awarded 2 points.

2. Pretty sure it's 2 points.
No link to rules, though.

Is this about that 6-4 game?

7. When I saw that final score on TV
I had to check the internet to see if that was the right score.

Howdy, fellow Iowan! Urbandale native here... :hi:

9. Yes, Iowa scored all 10 points today
5 in a row over Penn State. When Kerry wins life will be so good again.
