I Guess I Have to Find a New Favorite Pizza Joint
The wife and I drove by our favorite pizza joint today. It is a locally owned place --- not a chain. They had Bush yard signs out front. I may be wrong, but I am fairly sure that they own the property. So, this is not a case where the landlord has the sign and they just happen to occupy the space.

The pizza at this place is some of the best that I have had. Great pizza and cheap pitchers of Amber Bock.

My heart is breaking. I have seen a few threads about these kinds of issues on here before, but have not paid much attention, because I was not personally affected.

On another topic ---- I live in Arkansas and I think that we will be the surprise state this year!!!! Kerry signs are everywhere down here, just not at my favorite pizza joint.

1. Time to call in fake orders
Call in for delivery out somewhere in the boonies that doesn't even exist. At least until November 3rd....

2. Too bad! Please let them know why you and
your wife will not be patronizing their place anymore.

And thanks for all your enthusiasm in Arkansas!

3. Please let them know why you're moving on.
They need to understand the consequence of their decision to support B*sh.

4. your heart may be breaking but it is in the right place.
I would not hesitate to stop supporting any business that jeopordizes our democracy. I have thought about going around taking digital pictures of every moronic display put out by local businesses in order that I do not forget their support for this crime family in our neighborhood.

5. Hello from another Arkansan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of Kerry/Edwards signs around here...not many Blowhard/Chickenshit signs at all! I am hoping that Arkansas will go Kerry, but my neck of the woods is probably not indicative of the entire state.

6. Greetings from Central Arkansas!!!!
I live in Pope county and right now, unfortunately, I am seeing a lot of B/C signs. However, there are a lot more Kerry/Edwards signs out now (after the debates) than before.....I can only hope that the trend will continue...all the way to the polls.

7. Yeah, it's hard.
It's hard having to live by our values when it affects our taste buds. I'm in the middle of NYC where getting great pizza is not much of a challenge, but my husband and I changed sushi restaurants earlier this summer when owner of the place we patronize told us * was getting his vote. We may miss that place's spider roll, but we won't give him our business.

8. That sucks.
We're lucky for now. Our two favorite places (also local, mom and pop shops) are clearly in the Dem camp, and they're known for how well they treat their employees. Boy, I hope that never changes. I can imagine what it felt like to see those signs. My heart would sink into my belly, along with my aching taste buds.

Salud.

9. Turn their gas service off at about 5 p.m. on Friday night
hopefully, they won't figure out why their ovens don't work until after the dinner rush. If that doesn't work, then throw a rock through their front window. Wrap the Bush sign around the rock first, of course.
