4. Not a work of art, but they'll take it
It was a battle of the worsts: Cardinal pitching vs. Boston fielding. If Schilling comes out strong tomorrow, the Cards will be in a deep hole.

I see the NL rules (Ortiz at first) favoring the Redbirds, though. Can't see Boston winning more than one in St. Louis.

Looks like Sox in six from here.

Fingers crossed...can't watch them..but Hubby is upstairs glued to it...so his "angst" floats down...

(P.S. Myself, hasn't been able to watch BoSox for years...leave it up to him...) Too traumatic! :D

8. OK, good I can reply to this post
I thought I was going to have to call EMS for my husband. He was jumping off the couch like Bush jumping off his chair in the second debate. Right now he's fallen asleep with Faux news blaring in the background. Better go shut off the tube before my husband's IQ is affected.

14. If there is a curse it wasn't evident tonight
Most of the time when you have four errors and give up 9 runs you lose. And how about that home run to put them ahead in the eighth? Damn thing plunked right off the foul pole. Just a little gust of wind or the foul pole being back a few more feet and it would have been foul. The Red Sox didn't look like a cursed team tonight. They looked pretty damn lucky.
