What animals do you surprisingly find tasty? |
|
A copycat, I know, but I had quail recently and it was damn good stuff.

27. Natural game is good. |
|
I don't hunt animals but I'd rather eat an animal that actually lived, instead of a bovine version of a lab rat.
My Dad and brothers have friends who hunt. Try elk someday.
Venison is good but every time I think about it I see Ted Nugent and it totally puts me off. (In the dictionary under "imbecile"....)

|
Our professor of Entomology here likes sauted cicadas...He says you have to get 'em before the shell and wings harden for best texture....

I know they are not an animal, but boiled up hot and spicy, they are a delicacy with corn on the cob, potatoes, onions, garlic and a pitcher of ice cold beer. Savor that crawfish boil and let the good times roll.
