Yankee fans in exile congratulate the Boston Red Sox . . . |
|
on their win tonight . . . one down, three to go . . . not the best played game I've ever seen, but exciting nonetheless . . . one worry is that the meat of the St. Louis lineup was pretty quiet, and they still scored nine runs . . . ouch . . . but this is Boston's year . . . I can feel it . . .
Go Sox! . . . :)

This might be the World Series, but dammit, it just doesn't seem to have the same feeling that playing the Yankees did. :-)
BTW, they had a great show on ESPN today with Dwight Evens and Bill Lee (in Hawaii) talking about the past Red Sox/Yankee rivalry. Bill's 1st comment? He was looking forward to the fall of the Kingdom of Bush next week.
