3. ROTFLMAO!
Oh come on. When I say "I haven't eaten meat in years", is there really more than one meaning? O8)

2. I mix my poisons, a little bit of each...mercury, salmonella, mad cow
and of course, lots of synthetic carcinogenic estrogens in all USA meats.... but I only eat about 3-4 ozs a day, and some days none, filling up with huge bowls of fresh homemade veggie soup....which I have hopefully removed most of the pestsicides from. Sigh.

4. And yet we supposedly live longer
(our previous generation lived longer. The treatments and pesticides in today's food haven't proven to be safe in the long run. Not until we die at either age 100 or 40, but I'm sure peak oil will nab us first.

5. Definitely chicken
I do everything with chicken: bake, broil, roast, fry, stir-fry, BBQ, soup, sandwiches ... and I love CPK's BBQ Chicken Pizza! :-D

6. A poll just for me!
Mmmm, processed soy!

I haven't eaten the other stuff for 19 years--I don't remember what it tastes like, so the soy versions never disappoint me.

8. Soy is cool. I used to ate it until I couldn't afford it.
Now I eat ground turkey, but found a place that has comparable prices for soy products. (Boca brand, but I won't complain. Fat free is better than fat!)

11. I occasionally eat fish now, but I eat soy at least 2 times a day.
I just found "Tofu to Go" they have a very yummy tequila lime baked tofu.

10. Mutton - Not as a Majority But as a Plurality Among Meats Eaten
I live in an area that has retained its taste for mutton ever since the first Irish immigrants arrived in the 1830s. All the BBQ restaurants in my city serve mutton and burgoo (a spicy stew with mutton, occasionally with chicken, potatoes and other vegetables).

I eat mutton at least three times a week. I'll occasionally order a leg of mutton from the biggest restaurant in town, which will make several dishes. It's the only place where I can obtain them locally, since all the meat has to be USDA-inspected, and this huge enterprise absorbs practically all the mutton on the market. Other local restaurants depend on local farmers for their mutton.

Here's the webpage for that restaurant. It has a fantastic buffet - and the Big Dog ate there once!

14. More on seafood...
In order of preference:

Lobster
Scallops
Chilean Seabass
Crab
Rainbow Trout
Shrimp
Salmon
Mussels
Swordfish
Mahi Mahi
Squid
Octopus
Clams

I suppose I could eat nothing but seafood, beef, eggs, fruit and veggies and never miss anything but perhaps some chicken, capon and kielbasa here and there and a Thanksgiving turkey once a year. :)
