Best Snack or Snack Recipe for use during WS or just reading DU thread? |
|
Currently partial to pistachios, but open to new recipes or ideas, especially for the World Series!

2. Amazing! I am usually eating pistachios! |
|
Other good snacks include coffee, diet anything (yes I know the aspertame is killing me), and chocolate in any form.

7. I'm now thinkin' Nachos? |
|
Avo chunks, olives, onions, mild jalapeno slices (to please every palette), and lot's o' jack cheese. Microwave to melt.
I'm leaving out beans and/or meat. Okay?
Any other tips?
Salsas on the side: some hot, some medium. I wish I could find a good green chile salsa, but here in VT, no real Mexican food. I sooo miss my native CA at these times!

12. Last night I had perhaps the single best thing I've ever eaten |
|
It's called a Bananas Foster Sundae Dasher from Carvel. 1 scoop dulce de leche ice cream smothered in warm caramel and bananas sprinkled with cinnamon, followed by a second layer of the same, then topped with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle. It's in a handy container that fits in your cupholder, hence the name Dasher.
I am in love with this food item. Seriously. I want to build a temple to it. :loveya: :loveya: :loveya: :loveya: :loveya:
