Video Game fans, are Silent Hill 3 and 4 good?

I played part of SH3 and wasn't that impressed. I think you can find the same thing better elsewhere.

where the reviews believe 2 was the best. Personally, I consider 1 better than 2. I think it's a dead franchise, unfortunately.
