Fess up. Who was your teenage crush?
There were many, but Starbuck (Dirk Benedict) from Battlestar Galactica was very dashing. I would have been happy to flee Cylon tyranny with him.

5. Harrison Ford
from the original Star Wars. I was 16 when that came out and all my friends were oohing and ahhing over Mark Hamill who was too pretty for me. I much preferred Han Solo's crooked grin. Oh, those bad boys!

16. Also from Buck Rogers, Erin Grey, I had a chance to meet her
in San Diego once, while taking a friend to comic-con. She was at a table, alone, I guess none of the teeners had any idea of Buck Rogers and who she was. I looked over, recognized her, she perked up thinking that someone actually recognized her, I smiled and walked away.

What a loser.

23. The Cars are one of my favorite bands.
Their eponymous first album and Candy-O are two of my all-time favorites. When I was 14 Candy-O was the ONLY album I listened to...for about a year! Perhaps that explains things!

Tiffany and Molly Ringwald were other ones. Later in my teens, I also had Michelle Thomas from Family Matters as a crush. It's sad that she died so young. I've always found keeping track of crushes fun. You have to have some fun in life. :-)

34. I never had a thing for celebrities.
My "first time" was with a man old enough to be my Dad. I had a crush on him for the longest time before I had enough courage to tell him that I wanted him. We had our own reasons and I don't regret it. We still get along quite well ,actually.

How many others have actually "had" your teenaged crush?
