Lobster Bisque & Grilled Cheese Sammiches
i ask. is there ANYTHING better when one is ill?

both the Mrs and I have nasty colds x(

so.........

tonight it is a GREAT (local) Lobster Bisque (yes bought at the store) and my FAMOUSE grilled cheese sammiwhes!!!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

(that is if i could taste anything) x(

4. There's stories of early New Englanders picking lobsters off the beach....
They were peasant food. People would say "Someday I will be rich and never have to eat a lobster again." True!

12. Yes! That is still my fav perk up meal!
Tomato soup (could include bisques of tomato variety) and the yummy grilled cheese (sometimes I add grilled onions between the cheese layers).

Ooooh, now I'm hungry!

8. Man that sounds good!
I'm trying to lose weight so no good food for me. I'm trying to keep my intake to between 500 and 800 calories a day. Okra and tomatoes for supper tonight.

Lobster Bisque... Made with ground lobster shell! (that's where alot of flavor is, talk about good Calcium source)

Messy to make I'd imagine... actually have to get the shell into a powder.

We're having grilled cheezes (with Velveeta-- yeah, I know, but it's a guilty pleasure) and my wife's homemade chicken noodle soup with spaetzel-- which is this German pasta-- made from scratch.

I knew there was a reason I married a farmgirl. :)
