Why do some people feel the need to be grateful here?
Edited on Sun Oct-24-04 05:31 PM by RetroLounge
What are you grateful for???

I am grateful for my wife, my kids, my health, my family and friends, DU, John Kerry, Howard Dean, et.al., the beautiful fall colors I can see out my window, the distant sound of the train horn coming up from the valley, the roof over my head, the solid ground beneath my feet, and the clothes on my back.

and you guys! :yourock:

2. I'm grateful
for DU. With out it my family and friends would have disowned me this year. It gives me an outlet for my frustrations.

friends, who are all good, lovely people. :-)

And my partner, Doug, who gives me love, joy and has shown me the wonders and beauty that life has to offer. SHMILY, my darling.

6. I just got back from a weekend in the country with great friends on a
beautiful lake. No television/cnn/computer for 30 hours. Peace, love, friendship, excellent food, a partner I adore, sex, my dog, John Kerry and John Edwards, and freedom. I don't go hungry, I'm not persecuted, I am loved and I have a comfortable place to live. And then there's DU.

What SHOULDN'T I feel grateful about?
