which is what the UCF Golden Knights are headed towards this season. Argh! Sorry didn't mean to be an ass and hijack this thread.
Honestly, I don't know. Sounds like a good riddle.

I went to a Marlins game during their first season back in 1993. I was just about 10 years old then. I have been a big fan ever since.
Marlins' fans have been through some hard times but there is something special about our team. 1997 and 2003 were both incredible WS victories! It's a shame the rest of the baseball world didn't pay much attention. I honestly think that the 2003 Marlins were the most unusual WS victor in the history of the game.
We didn't have that bad of a year this year either. I think it was a mistake for them to let Pudge go though. He was a glue of the WS team.
Don't worry about the Golden Knights. They'll be a good team 10 years down the line if we're lucky.

I actually live in PA and always have. I also went to a game in Philla in 1993 with my Cub scout den (i was also 10) and I decided that i'll root for the Marlins. Heh, if you can imagine one of maybe 10 people in Veteran's stadium rooting for the Marlins! The Marlins lost 4-3, but I've stayed with them the rest of the way.
I know what you mean about the Marlins being a special team and how it was a mistake letting Pudge go. He was by far my favorite player, next is Cabrera who is only 11 days older that me! I remember a game last year, also against the phillies where the Marlins were down 8-3 in the 7th and the Marlins fans started chanting "it's not over!" and the Marlins came back and scored 8 runs in the 8th to win 11-8!!!
