Some of my coworkers organised a voting party -- we went out to vote early, and then went for lunch (at Fuzzy's Pizza, a Houston favorite of George H W Bush... I may not have liked his politics, but the man knows his pizza!).
If your state allows for it, go vote early.
Why wait til the last minute? You don't know whether you'll be able to on Nov 2 (i.e. -- you could be sick or in an accident).

besides absentee ballot, but I want to vote in person on election day. Drove home from college to vote for Rendell and am doing the same for Kerry.

3. I encourage all who don't have early voting as an option |
|
to do an absentee ballot, if allowed.
