I ain't gloatin'--the Red Sox did what they really needed to do...
...they just might lose all three in St. Louis--of course, I still think they'll win the series. But if they lost tonight it would not have been a good omen.

However, they did win, and my belief that it is finally their time seems to be coming true. Yes, I recall 1986 when they took 2 at NY, but this team is different. They blew a lead last night a couple times, and just came right back. They have had errors coming out the wazoo, and they still win.

If Pedro wins a squeaker for them Tuesday, they will win in 4, a blow-out Wednesday night.

As Gene Wilder cried out in "Young Frankenstein": Destiny, Destiny, No Escaping Destiny! (Or was the last part Death For Me?)
