Poll question: My Beef w/ Clear Channel - Morning Sedition or Unfiltered?
Edited on Mon Oct-25-04 11:16 AM by otohara
I personally like Unfiltered better than Morning Sedition. Rachel Maddow had a "doctorate in politics" from Oxford, The Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead and Chuck D's credentials speak for themselves.

They have impressive guests ranging from Howard Dean (this AM) Madeline Albright, Michele Shocked, Al Sharpton, and many, many more....

While the guys on Morning Sedition seem to giggle a lot and over each and have few guests. I see where Mark Riley is an old time radio guy in NY area, Marc Maron is a comedian - not familiar with either.

I checked all CC the that carry AAR stations and they air Morning Sedition, it may be because they had a previous relationship with those guys, or as I read in a radio forum of radio type people, CC considers Unfiltered the weakest show on AAR.

Just curious which show DU'ers like better

1. I'm still wondering what happened to the british woman who
was on Morning Sedition. Sue Ellicot was her name I believe

2. I Really Like All of The Shows on AAR...
I don't get to listen to Morning Sedtion as much as the others just because, I don't have a job where I have to be up and out fist thing in the morning. I usually wake up about half way through Unfiltered. After that, in my car and in my office at work I play AAR all of the time with my SAT radio. All of the shows really have a very unique identity. From what I have gotten from Morning Sedition has been pretty favorable though. I enjoy their sense of humor. As for Unfiltered, I really love that show. I could listen to Rachel and Liz all day. Their voices are fantastic and they just have a quality about them that I find so refreshing. Chuck D is a wonderful asset to the show, I just wish he wasn't on the road so much. I love alot of the bits on the show. From the Pap Attack to Ambrosia Sings the News. I really think Unfiltered is a gem.

3. I don't think I've ever heard unfiltered.
However, I don't go out of my way to listen to Morning Sedition. It seems more like one of those goofy morning shows where they shoot the poop about things but don't have a lot of content.

4. If You Live in City Where Clear Channel Airs
AAR - you wouldn't, they drop Unfiltered & air Morning Sedition only...I listen on the internets.
