Tattoo Question
My tat is professionally done, in a clean place, reputable artist .My new tat covers my whole forearm from wrist to elbow all the way around. I have got the line work in, some of the twisted positions I had to twist myself into so the artist could hit certain angles of my arm was a contortionist challenge but it looks great.
I'm going back soon after these lines heal up to do more filling in, touch ups and details. It's my first section of my lifelong dream of covering myself with rainbow tiger striping.

It's a big deal to me! It's cool as shit I lovve it even with just lines it's beautiful I can't stop looking at it.I can't wait till it's got shading and color.I teared up when I took the bandage off it was so neat, seeing myself transform into my dream.. Mom said I'll regret it,typically like all moms do but she's intrigued. I have wanted to look like a tiger since I was a kid. And I am sick of using make up to do my tiger lines..People are used to seeing me with stripes. They tend to notice when I'm not felined.

The question I'm asking here is: About later that night, after I had the tattoo done, the bandage was off and the stinging was gone..I noticed a few hours after that as I went to bed that my arm felt hot internally. It was a little red around the lines but not much.I touched it and the skin surface was NOT hot tho like an infection would be. No irritation really no itching or allergic responses.

Today it is doing just fine ,it's healing up nice it feels close to normal just except for funky raised texture of the healing of ink and scab,it's not feeling hot anymore and there is no redness no soreness.I am just treating it gingerly keeping it moist so the ink scabs stay intact..Today is Monday I had my tattoo done on Saturday.
I am asking has anyone else felt this kind of heat in their body part after a tattoo is done on it? Is it part of the normal healing process or am I weird?

Also If anyone else does Reiki,I do Reiki and I was wondering is that hot feeling was just a side effect of tattooing, after-wards or was it the Reiki itself kicking in to heal me. I suspect it's both. But I'm just curious if anyone else experiences this too.
Reiki I have found sometimes switches itself on and flows and my hands will get hot when someone is sick or hurt in the room even when I don't know about it until later, seems like the Reiki knows someone needs healing before I do..
