I just saw "The Grudge". Man that is some scary shite. |
|
The Japanese horror movies (even their American remakes) kick major ass on everything Hollywood has done on the horror front since "horror" became synonymous with "slasher movie" in the 80's.
I think this movie was easily as scary as "The Ring" (which was pretty damn scary). "The Ring" has an edge in terms of really cool scary imagery and scenes, due to I think a larger budget to shoot nifty scenes with.
But in terms of the sheer terror factor, I think "Grudge" was about as good.
It didn't help that my wife had already seen it once and knew exactly the right moments to gouge my arm during the really startling scenes!

1. I really want to see it. |
|
I'll probably go this weekend if I can get around to it.
Was it worth the 10 bucks?

2. If you like to be scared, OHH YEAAAAHHHH. I don't know what's up with |
|
the PG-13 rating though. You gotta be kidding me with that. This is WAY over into R territory as far as I'm concerned. And I've seen every scary horrible movie and am no prude.
