Kids' Halloween costumes. I lucked out! |
|
It's been a busy year, and I've been sick the past few weeks, so I only now just went out to buy the kids' costumes. I was going to make them this year.
I had to go a few places, but I finally found two adorable ones. They're both plush, lined and look really nice. Not your typical store bought costumes. And they were on sale. Each one was the last they had in their size. My 3 year old is going to be a bear, and my 11 month old a dragon. Every store was so picked over, and I almost gave up, but decided to try one more place. I'll post pics after Halloween.

Toys R Us had a huge sale recently. Last year princesses were a hit with younger girls - it'll be fun to see what's popular this year.

3. It must be princesses again. |
|
Or, maybe not. That may be why I saw so many; it seemed like that was all that was left. Toys R Us was one of the places I hit, because I had to get presents for the little one's 1st b-day. The Dora ones were cute.

4. I haven't had a chance to but my son a costume |
|
he just informed me today that he wants to be Harry Potter - last year he was content to be a sheriff of sorts and no costume purchase necessary.
I love the costumes for little ones.

5. My mom made my girls costumes |
|
They chose Little Bo Peep and Spanish dancer costumes, which surprised me because they love monsters and scary things. Having my mom make the costumes was a stroke of genius, because it kept her busy while my family visited for three weeks. Usually if I am around her that long she starts a fight, but she was too preocupied with costumes this time.
I spent a bunch of money on Halloween candy last night. Last year I ran out of candy, because who would have thought that trick or treating would be so big in the Middle East? This year, I'm prepared for a great Halloween.
