5. Suprisingly no
Although he was possibly the most openly gay high school student possible in the early 1980s.

18. Hey. That's an open invitation for sticks and stones . . .
you do realize that, correct? heh.

I'll bet he sat there picking his nose or telling stories about sexual conquests or other such stuff in attempts to brand himself w/ self-importance in the eyes of others . . . I'll bet, too, that he was first in the class at such doings too.

Did I earn my dollar?

24. No, he wasn't like that from what I recall
He was totally into drama and musicals. He hung out with theater girls, mostly, though it was clear that he wasn't dating any of them. He was basically known as the 'faggot' of the school. So most of the kids were pretty mean to him, if they noticed him at all. That may explain why he is the way he is now. He is living proof of why teaching tolerance in schools is necessary.

38. Ah-ha! Yup, that explains it!
As is your insightful comment about teaching tolerance in public schools too. Indeed.

Sad how some of us adults are forevermore locked in the negativisms of our childhood. Acting out as adults the negatives we learned as children. Makes one wonder about George Walker Bush too. Not that I empathize w/ him or w/ Drudge! Because there comes a juxtaposition in our adult life wherein we become responsible for who we are regardless of the negativisms of childhood that helped mold us as adults.

From what I remember. He was kind of a misfit loser type. And gay. Definitely gay. (Not that those have anything to do with each other)

32. Silver Spring, Maryland
The school was called Northwood. I went there with Drudge in '83 and '84. Northwood closed in '85 and the remaining students got sent to either Montgomery Blair, Einstein, or Kennedy after that. Matt was a year older than me so he would have graduated in '85. But I'm not sure if he graduated at Northwood or not because I moved to Prince George's county in '84.

Well, the state that gave you Drudge also gave you John Waters. I think they even each other out.

37. Absolutely not!!
Kitties get scared by a lot of noise and people! My dogs, on the other hand, would be hamming it up at a party. Shelties just aren't that scary though. They'd just try to herd everyone.

35. Northwood H.S.
He wasn't political, as far as I knew. He was a grade above me. No I didn't know him. I probably spoke with him a few times as it was a fairly small school. He really didn't make that much of an impression on me other than his being rather effeminate. I never thought about him until he became famous through the Lewinsky scandal. I only remembered him because he has a fairly unusual name.
