2. Kill it, drive a wooden stake through it's heart, and burn the corpse.
It's the only way to keep it from coming back alive.

3. Handle it just like a zombie
Shotgun blast to the chest.

Or maybe just avoid them.

5. Wait a few days

have him/her committed for psychiatric evaluation so that the 72-hour hold doesn't expire until after November 2nd.

If s/he's already voted, it's just to late to save him/her.

6. Tell him the truth
The truth, these days, won't let you down. It's all right out there. If they will accept the facts, then they will have to reject George Bush*. He has made such a mess in Iraq, 1100+ killed, 8000+ injured, with no plan in sight, of the economy, has turned a record surplus into a record deficit, is the only president who has failed to create jobs since Hoover, has ignored the very real threats posed by North Korea and Iran, and launched a devastating, preemptive war against a third-world country which was never a threat, based on lies to Congress and the American people... I think that you have lots and lots of ammo. If you need more, I'd be happy to provide it. I am just amazed that you can get a Freeper to listen. The only Freeper that I have to deal with is my mother and she starts shouting me down before I can even open my mouth...

7. Plant a seed of an idea, which you know will be reinforced by
the hard news, and then come back to see if the idea has planted in his mind. It is amazing when you come back and hear them saying familiar things as if it's their own invention.

8. The news that has been coming out of Iraq in the past few days
gives you more ammunition than you could have possibly hoped for. It is evident that this administration invaded Iraq with no good reason, no plan and not enough troops to accomplish whatever they intended to. And now, they're asking for more troops and even more money.

Don't ask me, I thought it was a horrible idea from the very beginning. However, now that we're there, the U.S. has botched pretty much everything. They went in without allies and are seen as occupiers, and are the target of an insurgency that becomes stronger and more widespread, everyday. The loss of life continues to escalate. More than 1100 Americans are dead, more than 8000 are wounded, and more than 1300 Iraqis are dead, many of them children, feeding the seething hatred towards the U.S. There weren't terrorists in Iraq before; Saddam wouldn't have permitted it. But they sure are in there now, pouring over the borders, finding willing recruits among the disaffected and angry Iraqi population. And we now know that tons of explosives were unguarded and are probably being used by the insurgents against our brave soldiers, in car bombings and improvised explosive devices. This is unconscionable. We are supposedly training the Iraqis to defend themselves, but this sure isn't working. Anybody who signs up automatically becomes a target, including the 49 trainees who were massacred this past weekend. Allawi is no longer taking talking points from The White House and blames the coalition, aka the USA, for this. It just gets worse and worse.;(

What more can I tell you? You can get your talking points on the nightly news, though I cannot imagine that your friend cannot see this for himself. I heard an interview with a journalist, who had been living in "The Green Zone" of Baghdad, until just recently. He said that those who have lived there for a long time just cannot understand how there still is any dialogue about this in this country. Those who have seen what is going on know that every effort made by the U.S. in Iraq has failed completely. We need regime change at home.:grr:

11. Encourage them to vote for Walt Brown as a protest vote...
...if they just can't bring themselves to vote for Kerry. It will have a double effect. First, they won't know he's the Presidential candidate for the Socialist Party, AND when the national Republican Party sees that a Socialist candidate is gaining votes in a national election, they'll shit in their pants. Its a double whammy. You can't miss.
