Summary of Al Frankens appearance on Yesterday mornings Stern show
from http://www.howardstern.com/today.php

THE FRANKEN AND DEPACE SHOW

Al Franken came in to promote his radio show on Air America, where he spends a lot of his time showing how Rush Limbaugh lies about many of the facts he uses. One of Rush's biggest fans, E! director Scott DePace came in to argue with Al. Al tried to explain to Scott how Bush is manipulating the public because polls show that a lot of Americans still believe that Iraq has Weapons of Mass Destruction and had strong ties with Al Queda when both things have been proven false. Scott kept interrupting Al saying his explanation was taking too long. Scott and Al went back and forth over a lot of political issues, but while Al was talking in a calm voice Scott started screaming back at him. Scott started to dispute something Al said about Halliburton but then Jason Kaplan came in a read a report from CBS News that backed up Al's claim. He then goofed on Scott for saying that Alaskan animals want us to drill for oil up there because they enjoy the warmth of the oil pipes. Scott said that is not exactly what he said, but he does believe the oil pipelines would make good shelter for the animals. Everyone laughed at that. Howard then conducted an office poll to see who everyone is voting for. Kerry won by a landslide, with DePace casting the only Bush vote and Benjy writing in that he's voting for the Libertarian candidate. Howard told Jason that Benjy is no longer allowed to be apart of these polls because he just tries to draw attention to himself. Gary came in and said that Will Murray was in Scott's car once and saw a napkin Scott keeps in there to write down notes. The napkin Will saw had notes Scott took of Al's show and all the things he disagreed with. Al invited Scott out to eat with him sometime after the election so they could hopefully have a civil conversation. Howard said that every time Scott gets confronted with facts he goes crazy, so good luck with that civil conversation.

2. I was dissapointed that Al didn't mention the Stern appearance on
yesterdays Franken show.

He seemed to be really serious about it being the Wellstone anniversary so it's understandable.
