Young Buddhist Monks Quit After Falling For Beer Girls
<snip>

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia -- Life in a monastery didn't look so good after a couple of monks saw the beer girls.

Two Buddhist monks have abandoned their vows after falling in love with a pair of teenage beer girls.

The Cambodia Daily reported that the monks, both 19 years old, gave up their monastic lives after the chief monk at their temple accused them of secretly courting the girls in violation of Buddhist precepts.

The girls had been selling brewskis across from the monks' temple in central Cambodia. A local police chief said the girls had been warned to leave the monks alone.

3. You had me at "teenage beer girls."
Can't believe there's no pic!

BTW, I would gladly trade Enlightenment for Janeane Garafalo, Renee Zelweger and Maureen O'Dowd dressed as Hooters waitresses.

4. monks can come and go, they are not excomunicated..it is just part of
samsara...

Buddhism is based on compassion... the Noble Eight Fold Path is somewhat like the 10 Comandments..

But more like the 8 suggestions, if you fall... then return they just smile and say,..welcome back, glad you made it.
