What are you doing to survive the next week?
I find the tension is starting to make me a little nutty. I'm trying to stay active, and I work two jobs, which makes the days pass, but damn!...

2. Slowly going insane
I've had this feeling in my gut that won't go away. I've been trying to do some housework to compensate, but mostly I've just been collecting fonts in a fonts swap group I'm in. It's like I want to do something obsessive, and collecting fonts kind of gives me that OCD edge.

The one thing I'm NOT doing is thinking of the election results. The election, yes, and my part in it, but I'm trying not to think of the potential results.

3. weeding
Whenever things really get to me, and I have a few spare minutes, I go out in the yard and slaughter weeds. Pretending they're rethugs makes it fun.

4. I'm a state employee and therefore off on election day,
which I'm certainly not taking for granted, but I really resent that, one way or the other, I have to go back to work the following morning. I would much rather be hungover Wed. (in either scenario).

6. We're getting resumes out and stuff...
We're gonna make sure that if Bush steals this election too, we'll be out of the country by around June, hopefully.

7. I'll just stop looking at the polls
I'll find the results soon enough, and if I fret now, I might get a heart attack.

10. My brother & nephew will be in town for the weekend.
And while my nephew makes me want to fight even harder for his future, he also takes my mind off the negative & brings me hope.

11. A Red Sox championship, together with a Kerry victory might finish me off.
I don't think one person could handle that much joy in such a short period of time.

15. I am due for a surgery, and I was honestly thinking of voting absentee
and then seeing if I could schedule it for around the 2nd. That way I would have been out of it for the evening. Call me crazy...:hi:
