1. Trailer Park folks are some of the poorest and hardest working in the USA
It's about time they woke up and voted in their best interests.

11. I live in a trailer park and I am not poor.
I earn a fairly good salary. I choose to live in a trailer because it is paid for and I only have to pay lot rent. I get so sick of people who look down on those of us who live in mobile homes. The majority of mobile home dwellers are not ignorant, beer-swilling, foul-mouthed ignorant rednecks.

14. I was speaking to the general case...
I have many friends who live in trailers. In general, they are not well-off, but are honest, hard-working blue collar folks who are getting through life as best they can. Not stupid. Not beer swilling... Well, some of them, but then I know them because we used to own a tavern in the western rural part of Cook County, IL. So, some would come in for a beer, others just for our famous hamburger.

No disrespect was intended whatsoever!!!

2. She needs to add the word 'Dammit!' to that sign
Like this:

Kerry/Edwards 2004, dammit!

:)

(snip)
WE HAD A BUNDLE IN THE TREASURY DRAWER
MORE THAN THERE HAD EVER BEEN BEFORE
BUT EVERY DAY WE'RE DROWNIN' DEEPER IN DEBT
MAYBE FOUR YEARS SHOULD BE ALL YOU GET
THEN YOU GAVE TAX BREAKS TO THE MILLIONAIRES
AND TRIED TO MAKE THE WORKIN’ MAN PAY
BUT YOU CAN’T TAX A MAN WHEN HIS JOBS NOT THERE
NOW LOOK AT WHERE WE ARE TODAY…HEY

I’M TAKIN’ MY COUNTRY BACK
SON, YOU AIN'T BEEN DOIN’ HER RIGHT
OH I BEEN WATCHIN’ YOU AND I DON’T LIKE
HOW YOU'VE BEEN TREATIN’ MY STARS AND STRIPES
YOU GOT TOO MANY FANCY FRIENDS FOR ME
THE SAUDIS TREAT YOU LIKE YOU'RE ROYALTY
YOU BLEW THE BUDGET AND YOU BOTCHED IRAQ
NOW I’M TAKIN’ MY COUNTRY BACK
(snip)

The site's well worth a visit.

4. That is exactly what the Pubes don't want to see
The trailer park woman with a cigarette jammed in her mouth, an Alan Jackson tee, and a K/E 04 sign. These people are supposed to be their base.

8. Exactly right.
That's what happens when you lose jobs, ship 'em overseas, kill 18-year old military personell in a needless war, etc etc etc etc etc etc.

Kiss your base good-bye, Repugs!

6. Good for her!
I drove through one of the poorest sections of rural SW Virginia the other day. These areas always vote Republican, but the Kerry-Edwards signs were everywhere, including trailer parks.

Maybe this woman and her neighbors have begun to realize that * doesn't give a damn about them. He's interested in the lower middle class only when they can offer up more of their young to be maimed or killed in Iraq.

9. Rock on
Every vote is one more vote for K/E, one less for BushCo. I'm glad to see pissed-off-looking people like that, for one.

12. I am not amused.
I really resent the implication that females who live in mobile homes look like that woman. I live in a trailer park and I am so sick of others slamming mobile home dwellers.

13. I don't care whether she lives in a trailor or not.
She appears to be an impoverished white person who is a country music fan. That puts her into a certain category of folks who have in the past blindly supported Bush despite the fact that he has NONE of their best interests in his agenda. This picture is one of the most encouraging thing I've seen in weeks.

By the way, my mother lives in a trailor.

15. Who'da thunk it?
Excellent photo. Very surprising indeed. But I have to concur with some of the other posters, the trailer park gags are getting stale.
