But I'm super into both their records.

All the elements are there - Interpol are post-punk revivalists (about damn time that stuff got a revival, though it deserves a better one than Radio 4 and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are giving it), and they're obviously Joy Division & Wedding Present enthusiasts (I fully and enthusiastically endorse fandom of both of those bands), but their records don't do shit for me.

And my copy of Turn On The Bright Lights... is worn to almost nothing from being played so much!
They rock. One of the greatest new bands. A nice breath of fresh air when compared to most of the CRAP coming out of the music scene these days.

Was on Interpol's website recently and watched their videos. Great!! The website mentioned that they'd be on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. I love them too, so want to alert you all to set your vcr's..... hope you all see this reply in time............
Jimmy Kimmell is on at midnight on the westcoast - after Nightline.
