Me and 3 college kids.... |
|
headed up to Manchester to work for the Kerry campaign this weekend.
I don't know these kids at all, but I've agreed to drive them from Boston College up to the campaign headquarters in Manchester.
They'll probably hate my music.
I hope I like them. I already KNOW I like their politics.

meeting people from all age groups and walks of life. I especially adore the fired-up college kids and the fired-up seniors. Since I am equidistant between those age groups, I wasn't sure how much I'd have in common with them. But I was pleasantly surprised!

I am amazed at the enthusiasm of the people in their 20s who are doing Move-on stuff. I have been doing some canvassing for them and their persistence and willingness to give up their time is astonishing!

3. I wish I had some help in my red state of Indiana! |

I am going out on a non-stop lit drop throughout my city so far by myself. I can't get my family to do it with me and most of my friends aren't as involved as I or they are Republican. So I am a one-woman crusade in a predominately Republican small town.
Oh how I wish I had some young college students to help me. You are lucky.
I'm walking Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday all day as long as I can!
