I have moved!!!

I got fed up with being out in "dreadful valley" mostly because of the commute so I've moved into Edmonton proper.

I can see West Edmonton Mall from my apartment. Apparently this is a big deal. :shrug:

The cats are scared by the big noisy thing in the basement (it's called a furnace).

They were a little dubious at first but now they've decided they like stairs so that's how they spent last night. Going up and down stairs.

I'm still finding little surprises.

Because of its proximity to the mall it tends to be a high-crime neighbourhood, judging from what my new neighbours have been telling me.

I was worried there for a bit until I went to investigate who who driving up and down the back alley all night.

Then I got woken up by a war nightmare (yes, I was briefly in the armed forces but it was more of a Vietnam TV news nightmare) to find out there really WAS a black helicopter shining its light in my back window.
