I don't have the slightest idea.
I remebmer a blob of a yellow guy singing it... with a cane and a top hat... and a few of the other lyrics, but that's about it.

19. that thing was around in the mid-seventies
I remember it from then. My wife and I still sing it from time to time, at appropriately cheezy moments.

7. Time for Timer:
"Well, here's orange juice and milk and toast just waiting to be taken,
And bless my soul right here's a bowl with one cold piece of steak in,
A hardboilde egg a chicken leg or cheese or luncheon meat,
or a peanut butter sandwich any time of day's a treat,
So to keep your mom from grumblin,
And stop that stomach rumblin',
And to keep your legs from stumblin' while you play,
You've gotta eat some kind of breakfast everyday."

Yeah, cold steak or a piece of cheese for breakfast. Thanks for the good nutritional advise, "Timer". And you lived to be how old? 40?

21. Do you recall a homemade toy called a "come back here?"
It consisted of a cofee can with some rubber bands, and was part of some crafts thing they would put on during commercials. Always wanted to make one.

I bet he'd not be able to do that these days, even if he hadn't died of cholesterol poisoning at age 40.

And, in retrospect, methingkst the stock footage (cartoon stomachs and esophagi) used in the food bumpers was the same footage used to illustrate the womb.

Ewwww...there's a cold piece of steak in the womb!
