9. For those elderly among us
(myself included) it's the way we've ended posts or almost anything else that has a "physical end" to it. We used to use it in the days of DOS, Basic Programming, and other ancient writings and text. :)

There are always new ones popping up, I suppose. But it's one of the oldest ways to say "Quote the Raven, nothing more." (With apologies to EA Poe.
