I'll pick from a few.
Dad came home from overseas (Vietnam) driving a MG Midget that we kids all got rides in. I hugged him, but couldn't get my arms around him - I was too little.

We always spent two weeks at a family resort on a lake. Nothing fancy, just a small house keeping cabin and a row boat.
I think the night before the trip was just the greatest. All the anticipation for fun and adventure.
If you have ever seen the movie "Ollie Hopnoodles Haven of Bliss", written by the late Jean Shepherd, you know what I am talking about.
