1. If it is on your hard drive you need to upload it to

photodump.com (free) and then right click the photo, go to properties, copy/paste the URL into your post.

2. You just have to find a website to host the image.

I think freehosting.com will do it, otherwise sign up for a page at some service.

Once you put the image on the web server, then you type the HTTP link to it in your message:

H T T P://(webservername)/(imagefile).jpg (or .gif or whatever)

Mostly we cannot upload them here. We upload them to different places and link to them from here.

Perhaps your ISP account comes with a personal website? I've used that before. Maybe you have a small business website? Not as recommended.

There are free spaces available, but so many have restrictions on linking in from outside..
