9. She's expected to recover fully....
I read she just had surgery and will go through about 5 months of chemo
All the fame and fortune and respect Brett's earned and still, life can go sour on you....
All Packers fans and Favre-worshippers have D and her family in their thoughts and prayers....

Yes, it's been a tough year for the Favre's. Prayers and love being sent out to the whole family!

From WBAY (channel 2 news):
http://wbay.com/Global/story.asp?S=2482371&nav=51s6SPxA

The family of Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre is dealing with another setback. Favre's wife, Deanna, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Deanna recently had a lumpectomy at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Favre's mother, Bonita, says Deanna will undergo chemotherapy for up to five months, and is expected to make a full recovery.

It's been a difficult year for the Favre family. Deanna's brother died in an ATV accident on Brett's Mississippi property earlier this month, and last December Brett's father died suddenly from a heart attack.
