Anybody watch "Butterfly Effect"?
Just watched it. Kinda good movie. Ashton Kutcher surprised me. Very well acted. Interesting plot.

3. There are two versions, though...
the Director's cut, and the official release.

Which one did you see?

8. surprising acting skill from ashton, this will be his "start"
I like the movie, but I was amazing by his acting. I kind of only figured him in small rolls, but now im impressed, and hope he does well.

15. I'd recommend it too.
I didn't like Kutcher's acting too terribly much, though. He has some (admittedly very good) faces that he does in comic scenes, but when they came up in the Frat alternate life, I thought they seemed quite out of place. Perhaps those were the first shot. I shouldn't complain too much, though. I thought the movie was great, and he'll probably improve.

Has anybody else seen the movie "Made in Heaven" with Timothy Hutton and Kelly McGillis? It's pretty good, I have a fondness for it, but the reason I mention it is that its final scene and the final scene of the release version of "Effect" are very similar. By accident, I had watched "Heaven" about a week before seeing "Effect", and the comparison made the ending quite poignant.

17. I loved "Dude, Where's My Car?"
So sue me :-) I think that Kutcher is a brilliant natural comic actor, and "Car" could have been boring and terrible without him. He'll get better as a dramatic actor, most likely, if he sticks with it.

Kanrok - Made in Heaven is a little uneven, but it's got really good portions. Just so you don't expect a total gem from my mention.

20. I saw it when it first came out...
it was a pretty good movie.

I just thought in the version where he was a preppy he must have had a pretty horrible defense attorney to end up going to prison for killing that crazy guy.
