"ex-Gay", current homophobe freeper ex-friend mentions DU
Last night I jacked this great post from DU (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=2545411) and posted it on her message board. Here's her response.

as far as voting for 100% Christian values... I'd say vote for neither.

But as far as best options go, I'm personally voting for Bush because of his "stated intentions" of continuing to push for having pro-life judges appointed to vacant seats. And also, I personally like his not wanting the UN directly involved in the decision making of our country.

I'm personally sick and tired of politics. And it sucks that the people more or less have to weigh the lesser of two evils - between what the two major parties have to offer. We can vote for whoever we want. I recently went to The League of Women Voters website to find out exactly "who" is running for President. Apparently on the NY ballot, there are 6 candidates. But if you exercise your right to vote for the "other 4", you are in essence wasting your vote. Then it comes down to the Dems and the Reps. But with the electoral college in place... you might as well vote Democrat, because NY is a Democratic state. How much more frustrating can it get?

Either way, the one who becomes our next Commander in Chief, will be there according to the will of God, just because He won't interfere with our freewill.

Everything must come to pass. But the whole idea that somehow "world peace" will be achieved in the political arena is a fallacy. Yes, there can and hopefully will be quieter times, but as long as mankind exists spiritually separated from God, there will never be peace between nations. The only exception being the "peace" offered by the deceiver himself. But this semblance of world peace will be a cover up for the ultimate deception. And before you think I'm a total goofball.... the answer is "No." Neither George Bush nor John Kerry are anti-christ material. But JK's UN sympathies do concern me.

Again, if John Kerry becomes President, well who am I to argue? I have a great deal of respect for our form of government. It's not perfect, but it's the best thing going at this point. It's because of it, that people from opposing viewpoints can come together and voice their opinions in a public forum such as this one. I just pray that our next President upholds these freedoms. That forums such as this one, or for that matter - such as the democraticunderground - do not get shut down. But if one or the other is silenced, and people are only left with one point of view... how is that freedom of choice?

I know I just opened a whole can of worms with that last statement... but I'll have to elaborate further on "freedom of choice" and "duty to uphold moral laws" in a future post.

1. The following statement makes my brain hurt.
"Either way, the one who becomes our next Commander in Chief, will be there according to the will of God, just because He won't interfere with our freewill."

Now I understand why some of these people think Bush makes sense. I mean, actually READ the statement.

"The next President shall be chosen by God's will BECAUSE he won't interfere with our decision."

3. With God, ALL things are possible
Putting Bush in the White House because he (Bush) was chosen by God to lead us in this time?

God letting us decide who we want, not interfering in our Free Will?

Hmmmm.... can't have both eh?

Maybe Parallel universes?

How noble, the Freepers saying they'd accept whoever won the election, don't ya think?

OK, so it's only one, but it's definitely an improvement over (purportedly those believing they live in a Democracy) Freepers who dare call One Person = One Vote
"Mob Rule"!

4. My brief non-professional psychoanalysis--she's an addictive personality
Same mumbo-jumbo, incoherent thoughts, and now everything is about God. She can't think rationally, and if she did, she'd start questioning why she's an "ex-gay," and then find out there's no such thing. Most people can drink alcohol and then leave it. Alcoholics can't--they're addictive personalities. She has to bring God into everything, even when it doesn't make sense--she just can't put that bottle down.

Sweetheart, get over it

5. She also needs to work on her writing skills.

Bad construction. :spank:
