lunar eclipse starts at 8-14 central time -- in just a few minutes

Folks, if you have a nice clear sky, you may want to catch this one. Predictions are for a colorful "red" eclipse as opposed to some of the darker "gray" lunar eclipses that we have on occasion.

14. What a view!

It is cloudy with showers here in the western NC mountains, but a little patch opened up showing the moon. I have a great view now of a 50% eclipse. What luck.
