My throat was sore for almost a week.
I gargled with salt water and drank a ton of chamomile tea sweetened with honey.

(sp?) Take two capsules three times a day at the very first symptoms of a cold. Take for three or four days. Now I love my pharmaceuticals, but this usually works for me. Good luck - I hope you feel better. O8)

in front, wrap a cloth around it for overnight. It won't cure the sore throat, but it takes a lot of the sore away.
