Mad props to the Red Sox, and congratulations to their many fans who reside on the board, but from the viewpoint of a fan of the game, one who really doesn't have a dog in this fight and can give two shits about the supposed curse, this is one of the most anti climatic Series we've had recently. It has it's fill of warm fuzzies; Schill with his amputated foot, and Pete Martin pitching what may be his final game for Boston, but I don't tune in for that. If I wanted human interest, I'd watch the Olympics (I don't, and I didn't). The Cards absolute lack of any pitching, coupled with their T-Ball caliber base running has made this unwatchable for me.
Again, props and congrats, but they postponed the Simpson's Treehouse of Horror till a week after Halloween for this?!! Celebrate safely.

At least there wasn't an earthquake in the middle of the sweep this year.

6. LOL, I recall that. Still remember seeing Conseco's ditzy wife |
|
purposely strolling past the camera after the game was cancelled. She wanted to make certain everyone saw her in her fur coat. That was the highlight of the series - a seriously self-centered player's wife locking for screen time while SF is in the middle of a natural disaster.

Maybe if the Cardinals showed up, guess they figured all they had to do was show up. How do you spell C.H.O.K.E.?

8. If I see one more Red Sox (Red Sock?) |
|
looking up and pointing to the sky, I am gonna puke.
Sorry fellas, but (1) god doesn't give a shit, (2) he isn't really up in the sky, and (3) brace yourselves - god is just a myth, anyway.

11. maybe an * next to the Red Sox in the record books would help? |
|
the * would signify "worst world series ever" just to rub it in?
