My Sister-in law just registered tonight as 'securitymom'. She saw the light about a year ago, and has been lurking on DU ever since.

She and hubby voted for b*sh in 2000. She regrets that vote with every fiber of her being, and is now a hard-core Kerry supporter (as is her hubby).

Anyway, say HI! to securitymom.

She's not a troll, freeper, or other form of unsavory creatures. I hope she gets a bit of leeway in her 1st dozen or so posts (then you can have at her if you wish!).

You might want to add a sigline to the effect that you're a security mom for Kerry. Generally, the conventional wisdom, such as it is in this country, is that security moms are for Bush, so people seeing that username might jump to the conclusion that you're a troll. Better to stomp on that idea right away.

For tips on how to set up a sigline, just ask.

I'm trying to come up with a sig that's original and clever. However, at the same time I'm trying to cook dinner and help my daughter with a Judy Moody book report. Multi-tasking at its best.
