God, that South Park sucked... |
|
I normally like South Park, but this one sucked beyond compare. There was absolutely no point to it, other than to say, "Voting sucks, since the choices are limited, so why vote?" Maybe the choices are limited because no one ever fucking votes!

from the illustrious creators that brought us Team America!
It didn't surprise me that they would go down that route.

4. I thought it was pretty funny.. |
|
...in some ways I gathered that it might have been a response regarding the whole Sean Penn flap.. but then again I don't know how long it takes to make a South Park episode.. the timing is probably not right.
I laughed my ass off at the PETA parts though.

The "Vote or Die!" song was funny (the only scenes that didn't suck were the ones with P. Diddy and his British accent--in a fortnight, bitches? :) ), but the PETA stuff was just a bunch of cheap shots that really weren't cheap shots since they were so stupid. Oh, look, they love animals so much they married them! Ha, ha... very original. The leader of the group is a goat! Ha, Ha. The only funny line in that whole section was the human/duck baby moaning, "Kill me."

8. I think because it is done on computer |
|
it only takes about a week to do a show. When Team America was coming out, I read an article saying they didn't know what this episode was even going to be about. I thought it was a response to Sean Penn as well. Not a great episode by any means, but still it had its moments. Also fairly accurate for most elections. Definitely the local OK Senate race is a choice between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich.

5. I thought it was awful... |
|
...I'm a huge south park fan, but I really felt like that episode jumped the shark.
Regardless of the fact that they completely trivialized voting, and the importance of this election (which I think is ridiculous)- it just wasn't a typical ROTFL SP episode.

6. These fuck-nuts know a suppressed vote favors the repukes |
|
Discouraging their mostly young audience is a gift to the GOP. Creeps.
