Long story, but the school had an election for a new mascot, between A Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich. Turd Sandwich was clearly intended to be * (same logo and supported by reactionary racist idiot Cartman)...
Stan didn't want to vote for either of them, but he was ostracized from society for not wanting to vote AND threatened by Puffy who means "Vote or Die" literally.
Not the most flattering for Kerry, but at least they predicted a landslide for Giant Douche.
